Project Coordinator | Construction

We are looking for a Construction Project Coordinator to join us full time. You will work closely with our Senior Project Managers out of our Brampton office and Construction Site Superintendents on our sites across the GTA to ensure our projects get delivered on time and on budget.

Struct-Con was founded in 1989, we are a small team of 20, and currently have over $60M of active construction projects under management. We specialize in building schools, libraries, transportation facilities, and private buildings.

About Your Experience Technical diploma or engineering degree, and/or equivalent trade experience 0-5 years experience working with a General Contractor or Sub Trade Ability to read and understand construction blue prints project/structural design Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, MS Project Solid communication, critical thinking and problem solving skills are necessary Ability to operate in multi-tasking environment, work independently and within a team. A a valid Ontario Driver’s License, a clean driving record Have access to personal vehicle for\local work travel

About The Role
Assist the Site Superintendent in planning and coordinating construction activities
Assist the Project Managers with change order pricing and to maintain project schedules
Assist in the presentation of the estimate/proposal to clients and prospects
QC\QA review reporting. Coordinate invoice approval.
Actively participate in company Health and Safety program
Arrange and conduct construction field services as required
Maintain diary for each project on a daily basis
